Summer Figure Skating Sessions

The St. Lawrence Centre Arena will hold a Summer Figure Skating session from June 25 to August 10, 2012 on Monday and Friday from 10:30am - 12:30pm. A test session will not be offered for this program. The cost of this 7-week package is $150 per person. Guest skating is welcome if space is available at $16 per session. Space is limited and fills quickly. Please call (315) 764-0684 for more information about reserving a spot.

 
Spring Figure Skating School

The St. Lawrence Centre Arena conducts a Spring Figure Skating School followed by a USFSA Test Session sponsored by the Massena Figure Skating Club. Participants must have successfully completed the Basic 8 program prior to enrollment. Coaches and Instructors are welcome to accompany their students and offer lessons to participants as long as all insurances and contracts are on file. Instructors are not provided or guaranteed to be available to provide lessons to participants. It is up to the student to arrange lessons with coaches/instructors. The June 1, 2013 test session is currently scheduled to begin at 2:00pm, subject to change. The schedule will be posted in the arena upon completion and may be posted here as well.

Learn to Skate - Basic Skating Skills program

The St. Lawrence Centre Arena offers a 8-session Learn to Skate program for Beginners and skaters in Basic 1-8.  The 8-week program is held on Sundays from 4:15 - 5:30pm. Skaters will learn the basic fundamentals of ice skating in a group lesson setting from a USFSA certified instructor.

Skate rentals will be provided free of charge during the lesson if your child does not have their own skates.  Helmets will also be provided, but due to a limited availability it is recommended to bring a helmet with you if you have one.  As a special offer your child will receive a 10-visit pass for public skating to be used anytime.

The next Learn to Skate Session begins April 21, 2013.  Cost is $87 for current Basic Skating Skills members of St. Lawrence Centre Arena, $99 for new members or those who need to renew their USFSA membership
